Masala Chhola Subji With Cooked Potatoes

Maharashtrian channa  *   1&  1/2 bowl

onion              *       1 [chopped]

tomato               *     1 [chopped]

paste of garlic &        *        2 tabs


garam  masala   *       1 & 1/2 tabs

chilly powder          *         1 tab

salt                      *      2 tabs

oil                          * 1/2 bowl

mustard sdeeds            *   1 tab

cumin                    *      1  tab Video

  •         PROCEDURE   *      Take the Maharashtrian channa & potatoes  as you wish . Wash it with clean water .  Keep it to cook in the cooker . Take  3 to 4 whistles of cooker . Then put the gas off . Now keep the all ingredients ready  up to cook the channas & potatoes . Keep the pan on the gas , add cumin’s by rubbing on the hand, add paste of garlic, coriander & fried  onion .  Add tomatoes , fry it well , then add one by one all ingredients as like garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt etc .
  •      Now add pieces of potatoes , fry it well & slowly add cooked channa in the pan , stir it well . Keep it to cook for a while , serve it with chapati, rice  etc.

    Making chhola subji with potatoes is very good experience for cooking.
